The Trumpet is a Node.js server that listens to tweets from NYC that contain the words "trump" and "protest" and plays a note for every tweet.

The project was developed at NYC's Monthly Music Hackathon, which took place on January 21st, 2017, a day after Donal Trump's inauguration. Inspired by the protesters who flooded the streets of NYC and Washington D.C. and their proud demonstration of democracy, Trumpet plays the ambient (sometimes ironic) sound of a non-violent yet historic protest.

I developed The Trumpet together with the amazing Or Fleisher.
